Dear Ella,
It feels like just yesterday that your Dad & I found out that we were expecting you. From that day, our lives changed forever. It feels like just yesterday that you were growing in my belly & kicking at my ribs! You gave me some great stretch marks but I have since learn to love them because they were for you. It feels like just yesterday that you were placed on my chest. At first I was surprised that you were a girl because I really thought you were a boy! But then, I fell head over heels in love with you. You had big brown eyes & a cute little dimple on your chin, just like me. You were amazing. You were perfect.

The last 12 months have gone so fast. You have learnt so much & it is such a joy to watch you grow. You are always smiling & laughing. You make us laugh everyday with the silly & funny things that you do. You love to dance whenever music is on, especially Giggle & Hoot. You love to touch things that your not meant to, like power points & the Foxtel box! You have 8 teeth now, you are a toothy monster! :)
I wish so much for you. I hope that you & I will have the same close relationship that me & your Grandma have. I hope that one day we will be best friends & you will be able to come to be about anything. I hope that one day you find a man that makes you as happy as your Daddy makes me. Also, I hope that one day you have lots of babies & that they are just like you. So happy & bright!
One day you are going to be an adult & do lots of things that I probably don't want you to do but you have to do them. You have to make mistakes to grow & it is okay to make mistakes. It's a part of life. You are capable of doing anything you set your mind to. You are capable of changing the world. You are my wonderful, crazy, funny, beautiful daughter & I love you more than life!
One day when you hold your own child in your arms & only then, will you understand the love that I have for you. You are my whole world.
